 FDA warning about Merrick Beef treats

The U. S. Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers not to use
Merrick Beef Filet Squares for dogs distributed by Merrick Pet Care with
a package date of "Best By 111911" because the product may be
contaminated with Salmonella.

The product was distributed nationwide through retail stores and
Internet sales. Merrick products are sold throughout San Francisco - so
please be sure to check your treat packages.

Hi Marcelo,
I saw Dad today. He is very tired (sleeps most of the day), has lost weight, is very weak,  but he is not worse. Actually he seems to be somewhat stable. If his kidneys recover enough in the next 3 weeks, I think he has a chance.
He is too sick to talk with people but I read to him all the emails that people send and he really enjoys that. He still laughs - his spirit is indomitable. I am proud to be his daughter. D
