Jack Be Nimble
I am in the possession of an ADORABLE, 1 year old border collie mix, named Jack. Jack needs
a home, as his previous owner cannot keep him. His history is simple. He was found in a box in a dumpster almost a year ago.
The person who found him is a young, 21 year old woman who simply no longer has the wherewithal to take care of him. I have
stepped in as a temporary Foster Mom.
Jack is mostly black, with a white blaze on his face, and four white socks.
He looks like he has on a tuxedo! He's all dressed up and ready to go anywhere you do! He weighs approximately 45 pounds.
Jack has long, graceful legs, and he looks like a deer when he runs. He is sensitive, incredibly intelligent, obedient, and
he has a great sense of humor.
Jack has all the basic training from puppy classes at Marin Humane Society. Jack
also has a lot of energy! He loves to play ball. He is already accustomed to the Mill Valley Dog Park and he gets along great
with other dogs, taking a submissive role.
Jack has a beautiful "I Will Do Anything" spirit. He is happy,
playful but also knows how to listen.
Please, if you possibly have room in your Pack, or know of anyone who might
be interested in giving this wonderful animal a home, ask them to contact me. Several people are willing to help finance his
monthly food bill.

August 19, 2009 Hello. Sadly, a friend of mine has to give
up her dear, sweet "Maxi". Below is a description and contact information, and attached is a photograph.
He is a truly sweet dog and would make a fun, lovable pet for anyone! Please feel free to pass this on to anyone you
may know who would be interested or might know someone who is. Thank you. Maxi is a Papillion Mix, about 10-11 lbs. and was 3 years old
in June. He loves people and kids and is really affectionate (likes to sit in my lap or at my feet a lot). He has lots
of energy and really loves playing with other dogs his size, so he is a big fan of the dog park, and would also likely do
well with an owner or family that already has a dog. He does gets nervous and will bark around big dogs at first, especially
if he is on leash, but will warm up to them if they are introduced slowly and if they are not too aggressive. I have
a cat, and they get along fine, so an owner or family with a cat could be OK. He is potty trained to go outside, but is also
trained to use his doggie box at home if he needs to. He is incredibly sweet and just about everyone who meets him falls in
love with him! He is totally up-to-date with his shots and just had his yearly physical exam last week. If you have any questions
