Two plants dominate the scene now; Ceonothus
(very drought tolerant, aka California lilac) and Forsythia. This is their time and they greet you at the north entrance
to the Dog Park. Forsythia are so plentiful and widespread in the region that it seems they were scattered from the
air. Their wonderful yellow blossoms catch your eye wherever you look. Often, they intertwine with other plants.
The Ceonothuses are at their peak now, but soon will fade. Enjoy them while you can. Click on the last one
